Noel

mom-noel-square.jpgMy name is Noel and I've been coming to Silver Dollar City since I was a child. I never will forget those first impressions of the park... exploring Marvel Cave, dizzily making my way through Grandfather's Mansion, and dipping candles in the candle shop. Being a childhood fan actually led to my working at SDC during my college years. After graduation, I joined the Public Relations, Marketing & Special Events team. I left the City just before the birth of our son. It's hard to believe he's soon to be six years old! I now work in children's ministry at my church, but every chance we get our family heads to Branson to enjoy Silver Dollar City, White Water or the Showboat Branson Belle. It's great to share something you love with your child and to discover that they love it as much as you do. My son is a true blue fan. Our years of being Season Pass holders have led to so many wonderful memories. For me, every visit to the City feels like a homecoming!

Sarah

My name is Sarah and I am a working mom of a preschooler. My days are usually jam-packed with work, playtime with my daughter, the occasional yoga class and trying to find the time to keep my house clean. As a working mom, I really value the time I get with my husband and daughter on the weekends. Silver Dollar City provides a perfect escape for us since it is just a short drive from our home in Springfield, MO and is packed with fun attractions and entertainment. The changing festival lineup means there's always something new to entertain us. I started visiting the park with my grandparents when I first moved to the Ozarks about 15 years ago. I have so many wonderful memories of visiting Silver Dollar City with my grandmother that every visit I make with my daughter feels like the continuation of a family tradition. My little girl loves riding the "Elephants" and "Tea Cups" in the Grand Exposition - a must visit for us every trip. But, at her age every visit to the park is also filled with plenty of opportunities for new discoveries!

Phaedra

mom-phaedra-square.jpgMy name is Phaedra and my first visit to Silver Dollar City was while traveling through the Ozarks with my parents in 1965. We stopped at the City where I toddled around the main square chasing butterflies and listening to a street entertainer strum his guitar. My parents recorded this early visit on their Super 8mm movie camera. Today, although much has changed over the years, much about Silver Dollar City has remained the same - the friendliness of the people, the mouthwatering food, the amusing street performers, and the talented craftsmen and musicians. These days, I live in Springfield, Missouri with my husband and our three boys. We've been regular Silver Dollar City visitors for nearly two decades. I have photos of my boys in baby carriers, strollers, and in sneakers running through the park. Spending time on park, enjoying every changing season of the Ozarks, is one of our family's favorite pastimes.

Lisa

mom-lisa-square.jpgMy name is Lisa and my family and I live right here in Branson, Missouri.  We have three children, ages 10, 7 and 4, and coming to Silver Dollar City is one of our favorite things to do.  My husband and I own our own business and our family homeschools, so our trips to the park are many and varied and we come year-round.  Sometimes we make a day of it and sometimes we just spend a couple of hours.  The kids, of course, have their favorite rides but many times we prefer to wander slowly, taking in a show, watching pottery being made, dipping candles or checking out the magic shop.  I would say, however, that most trips do include eating a funnel cake!  But no matter how often we visit Silver Dollar City, whether we're drinking frozen lemonade to stay cool or hot chocolate to stay warm, it's a great time every time.
