Noel

Noel My name is Noel and I've been coming to Silver Dollar City since I was a child. I never will forget those first impressions of the park... exploring Marvel Cave, dizzily making my way through Grandfather's Mansion, and dipping candles in the candle shop. Being a childhood fan actually led to my working at SDC during my college years. After graduation, I joined the Public Relations, Marketing & Special Events team. I left the City just before the birth of our son. It's hard to believe he's soon to be six years old! I now work in children's ministry at my church, but every chance we get our family heads to Branson to enjoy Silver Dollar City, White Water or the Showboat Branson Belle. It's great to share something you love with your child and to discover that they love it as much as you do. My son is a true blue fan. Our years of being Season Pass holders have led to so many wonderful memories. For me, every visit to the City feels like a homecoming!

Sarah

Sarah My husband and I both work full-time outside of the home and with Hannah, our 1-year old daughter, our lives can get pretty busy. My days are usually jam-packed with work, playtime with Hannah, the occasional yoga class and trying to find the time to keep my house clean. As a working mom, I really value the time we get together as a family on the weekends. Silver Dollar City provides a perfect escape for us since it is just a short drive and is packed with fun attractions and entertainment. The changing festival lineup means there's always something new to entertain us. This year I am most looking forward to taking Hannah to the Grand Exposition area and introducing her to the rides like Happy Frogs and Lady Bugs. I can't wait to see the look on her face when she takes her first ride! We are also big fans of VeggieTales, so I am looking forward to taking her to see the new Invention of Silliness show during Kids Fest. Last year we went to see the Saloon Show and judging from the expressions on her face, Hannah loved every minute of it.

Phaedra

Phaedra My name is Phaedra and I am a Springfield, Missouri-based freelance writer who has been "Crazy About City" for nearly two decades! With three sons, ages 16, 13 and 11, I've practically run through the park-chasing one or all three boys-on more than one occasion. We have so many family memories from Silver Dollar City... one of my favorites is riding Fire in the Hole for the first time, with each of our boys. The brave look on their daring young faces was unforgettable and truly precious. Fire in the Hole is like a rite of passage around our house. Today, I still love that rollercoaster! As a family, we've explored theme parks throughout America, but none can truly compare to Silver Dollar City in terms of unique beauty and variety of family-friendly rides, shows, crafts, and foods. The older our children become, the more my husband and I treasure the times spent on park... enjoying the rides, sampling the taffy, and sharing the simple joy of just being together.

Nicole

Nicole Hi, my name is Nicole. I grew up in the Ozarks and have enjoyed visiting Silver Dollar City since childhood. These days, I get to enjoy the City with my two girls, ages 8 and 9 years. I love how each year I watch them experience the City in every season. We have our traditions, like devouring fresh kettle corn, riding the train, and fun-spirited squirt gun battles at Splash Harbor. I work at a local hospital that over the past several years has treated its co-workers to a company picnic at Celebration City. What fun! My girls love all the rides, especially the Ferris wheel which gives you breathtaking bird's-eye views of Branson. Every year, we discover something new we love about Silver Dollar City, Celebration City and White Water. The White Water wave pool is one of our favorite summer vacation spots. Riding the waves, soaking in the sun and slurping a frozen lemonade... what could be more fun?

Kris

KrisHello, my name is Kris.  Silver Dollar City has always been an important part in my life.  It's where I met my husband while we were loading guests into the Lost River boats.  It's where I had the pleasure of being a Silver Dollar Saloon girl for many years.  It's the place that I've gone to spend a spring day with family and friends. I especially enjoy the rides, shows, and of course, I never miss the chance to eat a funnel cake.  Now that I'm a mom of two incredible boys ages 3 and 8, the time that I spend at Silver Dollar City has become even more precious. I love watching my boys enjoy all the things that I have loved for so many years, it just doesn't get better than that.
