More tips for you Silver Dollar City Moms!  In this edition...the Mom's Find It Quick List is a handy guide to kid-friendly amenities at the parks, and safety tips you should know.

Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am a serial planner.  I know my desire to plan every minute detail of our vacations has sometimes driven my husband to the brink of insanity.  I have a distinct memory from our honeymoon in which he grabbed me by the shoulders and said in his most exasperated tone, "Just be spontaneous!"  Ha!  There's no way I can stop planning now, it has served us so well in the past.   I'm always the one in-the-know on all of our trips to Silver Dollar City from the show times to where to find the nearest restroom and where to get the best BBQ lunch.

And, one of my tips to knowing all of this information is the Mom's Find it Quick List.  This handy guide is your ticket to planning heaven.  Need to know which restaurants serve milk?  It's on there...along with a guide to finding the best kid-friendly meals.  Need to know where to find sunscreen or batteries? You can find it there too!  This one-sheet reference guide is full of all the facts a Mom needs to know when visiting the park with her family.  You can get your own copy by visiting the Quick Links section of the MomsBlog.

One thing that is never far from a mother's mind is safety, especially the safety of her family.  One tip I always suggest when visiting the park with a group, big or small, is agreeing upon a meeting location for the adults should you become separated during the day.  For us, it is the fire tower on the square.  And, be sure to tell your kids if they ever become lost from the group all they need to do is find the nearest Silver Dollar City citizen, who will be happy to help get you reunited.

Hopefully you will never need it, but should you encounter any bumps or bruises that need some attention when visiting the park it is helpful to know the location of the First Aid Station.  First Aid is located right behind Brown's Candy Factory on Main Street.  The friendly staff there is trained to assist in all types of medical situations from minor to severe.  If you happen to be visiting with someone that is dealing with a special medical condition it might be a good idea just to stop by there first to familiarize yourself with the location and staff.

Another thing you will love is that the Silver Dollar City attractions in Branson are now pleased to provide Germ X in 177 locations at Silver Dollar City, Celebration City and White Water.  Germ X pumps are conveniently located in restrooms, near some of the rides and in restaurants all over the parks.  Germ X is a quick and easy way to make sure your family is staying sanitary while on the go throughout the day.  Ever find your kids are too impatient to wait in line at a sink to wash their hands?  Just a squirt of Germ X and they are on their way to safe, clean fun!

Hopefully these tips have assisted in satisfying the planner in you.  Rest assured, next time you see me at the park I guarantee there will be a Mom's Find it Quick List close by!
