2007 Winners The Punches FamilyThis Saturday and Sunday you have an opportunity to see and hear some amazing young bands take the stage in the Opera House as they compete in the KSMU Youth in Bluegrass Band Contest. 

These amateur band members are 21 years of age or younger and are from Arkansas, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas, North Dakota, Indiana and Wisconsin.  You won't want to miss it as they play their hearts out hoping to win top honors and prize money.  It's amazing  to me when I hear such awesome talent and think of the years that their parents must have devoted to lessons and training.  Head to the Opera House and cheer them on. You never know....you might be hearing the next Bluegrass Great!
