My mom and I decided it was about time we try out one of the Culinary & Craft School Classes.  We both love making and eating chili so we decided on the Great Chili Round-Up.  Wow, what a treat!

09-blog-fall3.jpgFall is in the air and that means the National Harvest Festival is in full swing at Silver Dollar City! My family and I headed down to the City this past weekend to check out the Festival...especially one of the new events, A Salute to the Great American Cowgirl!

If you haven't been to Silver Dollar City during the National Harvest Festival, then let me tell you what your missing. The City celebrates the Harvest in full Fall color complete with scarecrows, pumpkins and fall decor. It's a welcome sight to my eyes. I love walking up the lane and through the Hospitality House onto the City Square to see all the craftsmen and flurry of Harvest activity.
