Fun is in the Forecast!!

Take off that raincoat and leave your umbrellas behind! The forecast for this weekend is nice and sunny! Sounds like a forecast for fun to me.
The Bluegrass & BBQ Festival is going on at Silver Dollar City, plus this time of year the honeysuckle is blooming all over the park. Make sure you stop and take a whiff as you cross the Truss Bridge by Brown's Candy Factory, the honeysuckle there is thick and smells heavenly!
At Celebration City there's a new ride I've been wanting to try. I've heard the new 5-story water ride-ROARING FALLS is a blast, so I can't wait to make a big splash!
I think we'll catch some of the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival at Silver Dollar City and then head over to Celebration City in the late afternoon. How about you? Are you ready to put some fun in to your forecast? Then maybe I'll see you there!

This is one of my favorite times of the year to visit Silver Dollar City. The leaves are on the trees, the landscaping on the park is just beautiful, and the temperature is great. I also enjoy hearing the bluegrass music and the delicious barbeque. My kids love riding the rides in The Grand Exposition area. I'm so glad there is an area for younger kids to ride rides. They like the small roller coaster and the Racing Regatta. Their favorite ride is the Happy Frogs ride. I rode with them and I have to say it was really fun. We really appreciate being able to come to a park that is beautifully maintained, friendly and so family oriented. |
