Q: Advice about area lodging?
Posted by Mom411 in Questions
Q: Renae asks, "I have been looking at all the links for places to stay in Branson. I want to try a new place to stay and would love to hear some suggestions from other Moms."
A: The MomsBlog panel is comprised of local Moms living near the Silver Dollar City area, so we are not qualified to provide information regarding lodging options. However, we can open up this question to other Mom's visiting this blog. Does anyone have any suggestions for Renae? I would also advise that you visit Trip Advisor.com, as this site is dedicated to providing its users with ratings and reviews for travel related businesses.

I too am a local mom (at least local enough to drive home after a day at the city), but we have also stayed in Branson. If you don't mind driving a little bit there is a place called The Grand Country Inn that has an indoor waterpark included in the price of your room. It is close to several "back" roads, so you could get around fairly easy. There is also an indoor mini-golf, several shows, buffet dinner, and other amenities right on the site. We have also stayed at the Fairfield Inn and the Gazebo Inn (local, not a chain). My daughter's favorite however is camping. There are quite a few campgrounds really close to the city. Almost all of them have camping cabins available also! Hope this helps. |

My husband and I have been coming to Branson and Silver Dollar City since March of 2006. We always stay at the Best Western Center Pointe Inn, on the strip. It is always clean and the staff are always very polite. It has an indoor pool and hot tub, arcade for the kids, and an excellent complimentary breakfast! It also has a Montana Mike's restaurant in the parking lot! It is right next door to the Titanic Museum. My husband won't stay anywhere else! |
