Q: Are there new pins available for pin trading this year?

Q: Debbie asks, "I like to pin trade but can only get to SDC once a month, I was wondering if there are new pins out and if the employee pins are out yet?"

A: Debbie, I spoke with Sandy from the SDC merchandise department about the pin trading for 2008, here's her response.

"Thanks for your interest in Silver Dollar City pin trading.  Our first 4 employee pins are scheduled to be here by May 1, and we look forward to another year of pin trading.  We have 7 new retail pins available so far this year:  an Easter 2008 pin, the World Fest pin, Fire In the Hole, Sullivan's Mill, a Parks Spinner, a Silo Slider, and a Pocket Watch.  We will again this year have the pin trading board available from 3:00 - 3:30 pm.  Please stop by the Pin Trading Center on your next visit to Silver Dollar City.  We look forward to visiting with you and showing you all the pins we have to offer."
