A: The closest Aldi's is actually in Springfield, MO which is about 40 miles North of Silver Dollar City.  However, there are several grocery store options in the area around SDC that I think would work for you. 

Since I don't know exactly where you are thinking about staying I will give you the options closest to SDC first.  Going West on HWY 76 from Silver Dollar City you will come to the Intersection of HWY 76 and HWY 13.  Either way you go on HWY 13 you will run into a grocery store.  Country Mart is located at the corner of HWYs 76 & 13.  If you travel N on HWY 13 you will come to a Supercenter Wal-Mart.  If you travel S on HWY 13 towards Kimberling City you will eventually come across both a Harter House and Summer Fresh supermarkets.  However, both of those are several miles down the road, so I would only suggest them if your lodging accommodations are closer to Kimberling City. 

If you plan on staying in Branson, there is a Jubilee Supermarket located on "The Strip" - Hwy 76, and a Country Mart located on the NE side of town on State Hwy 248.
