Q: Can we bring food into Silver Dollar City?

Q: Kelly asks, "My husband was told that you cold roll up in the park with an ice chest (if you so desired to wag it around all day) Is this true?  Can you bring food into Silver Dollar City? I have read that you CANNOT bring food in the water park. Thanks for your help."

A: Silver Dollar City does allow their guests to bring in a packed lunch and drinks. This is a great option for families trying to save on expenses. There are many shady places for you to sit and enjoy your meal, however, SDC does not have facilities for storing food items brought from home unless it is a medical issue.  So, bringing a cooler with you would be a good way to store your items brought from home.  SDC does reserve the right to inspect all coolers upon entering the park, as glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. And, as mentioned, food brought from home is not allowed at White Water due to City Ordinance.  Hope this helps in planning your trip!
