Q: Does SDC offer shuttle service?

Q: Tina asks, "My family will be vacationing in Branson the week of June 1-8 at Escapes to Stonebridge Village which I understand is about a mile and a 1/2 from SDC. 

I may be without a vehicle for a few days as my husband is going canoeing with guys from our church at Jack's Fork.  I didn't want to have to drive him up and back (6 hours with 3 kids in minivan=no fun).  At any rate, are there any shuttle services that SDC offers to go back and forth to the park?  If not, is there taxi or bus service in that area and if so, how expensive would it be to transport us?  I have a 6, 4 and 20 month old.  I know I'm crazy to take them to the park on my own.  I have been there a few times and I don't think it will be too bad.

A: Silver Dollar City does not offer a shuttle service to and from area accommodations.  However, I would check with your hotel directly.  Sometimes area lodging businesses offer shuttle service as part of their amenities package. 

There is also a taxi service in the area named Branson Yellow Cab Company.  They can be reached by calling 417.332.2227.  The cost from Stonebridge to Silver Dollar City is approximately $5. 

I don't think you're crazy for bringing the 3 kids to the park by yourself.  There will be plenty for you all to enjoy!  Hope you have a great trip!

Tina, if you want to stay at the Deer Run they offer a shuttle service to and from the park for free, plus you can get a nice room with a small kitchen in it. That comes in very handy with three children.
