Q: Is my Beach Bucks band still valid?

Q: Dana asks, "Are the one-time only beach bucks in the 15 and 25 dollar amount only good on the day purchased?"

I went to White Water June 7 and asked to put $30.00 dollars in beach bucks, I was told I could only get it in $15.00 or $25.00 amounts. I still have almost $10.00 on the wristband and cut it off with the intention of bringing it back to white water this weekend to use the remaining amount. However, after reading Sarah's blog where it says for $3.00 you can have a reloadable card I'm beginning to wonder if my wristband is still good.

A: It sounds like you probably purchased a one-time use wristband, which would no longer have a value.  The one-time use bands are available free of charge, but the entire dollar amount must be used on the day of purchase.  With these bands, you will want to have a good idea of how much you plan to spend prior to purchasing the band.  You can take your band to Guest Relations at White Water to find out for sure if it was a one-time use band that you purchased.

There are rechargeable bands available for $3 each that can be used all season long.  The multi-use rechargeable bands are only available at Guest Relations.
