Q: Is the Show Lover's Pass a good value?
Posted by Mom411 in Questions
A: The lines for shows can vary greatly based on park attendance for that day and popularity of the show. The majority of the seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Doors for both of the venues you mentioned open 30 minutes prior to show time and close at show time. So, I would recommend arriving at the venue no later than when the doors open, sooner if there are big crowds on park. Personally, I have stood in line for an hour or more to see a show I really think is worth the wait.
However, if you would rather use your time enjoying the rest of the park instead of spending so much time in line the Show Lover's Pass is a great value. With a Show Lover's Pass, not only can you arrive at the theatre just as the curtain is about to go up, but you are also guaranteed the best seats in the house, front and center. Plus, you get a free Silver Dollar City souvenir mug (a $8.50 value) with the purchase of every ticket.
To purchase a Show Lover's Pass stop by the Show Lover's Pass ticket booth, located across from Eva & Delilah's Bakery (I-6 on your Silver Dollar map), and let one of the friendly Silver Dollar City citizens give you all the details.

I did get the show lovers pass once last year. There were 3 popular shows we wanted to see and we had brought a couple of my daughter's friends along. We didn't want to stand in lines so we splurged and got the passes. It was great, I can't afford it every time but it's definitely worth it if there are multiple shows you want to see, especially with little ones who may not want to spend the time in line it takes to get good seats. |
