Q: Debbie asks, "I'm planning a trip next week to Branson for my family.  My children are 6, 5, and 2.  I was wondering about a trip to Silver Dollar City, but the prices are about to blow our budget.  Any suggestions? Thanks!"

A:  I can't blame you for looking for deals on travel right now, especially with the added economic pressure on families these days.  And, I think there are several great options available for families looking to include the Silver Dollar City attractions in their visit to Branson.

First, you should know that your 2-year-old can visit Silver Dollar City, Celebration City and White Water for FREE!  There is no admission charge for children under the age of 4 at any of the parks.

If you think your family would enjoy visiting two or more of the Silver Dollar City Attractions or you are looking for deals on lodging as well as theme park admission then check out this blog post for more information on special CityHopper Savings Packages.

Would you consider a visit to Celebration City?  If so, there is a really great deal which includes a meal at one of the park's restaurants and unlimited refills on Coke products!  The Celebration City Family Fun Meal Deal allows you to enjoy the convenience of dining at Celebration City while saving you money on admission and meals.  For only $5.50 more than the regular adult admission price and $1.50 more than the child admission price you get a meal of your choice at Kicks' 66 BBQ Grill, Last Chance Diner or Mickey's Pizza and unlimited refills on Coke products!

This probably won't save you any money up front, but I would also suggest purchasing a Season Pass if you plan on visiting multiple times throughout the year.  Just two visits to the park will cover the cost of your season pass, so it really is a great value.  Hope this information is helpful!
