Q: TJ asks, "I have two questions 1st ? Can you leave the cooler parked somewhere? (at your own risk) or do you have to drag it aroud with you all day? Years ago when you could bring coolers into White Water we would leave them and they were fine.
2nd ? Do all vendors (resturant snacks etc.) accept credit cards? We always use CC and never have cash on us . Thank you, TJ"
A: Guests are allowed to bring coolers into Silver Dollar City. But, please keep in mind that alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited, so coolers are subject to inspection upon entering. As to your question about parking the cooler on park, that's a little trickier. I talked to the folks at SDC and there is no policy that restricts you from stashing your cooler on park, but there also isn't a good place for storing coolers safely. And, a cooler sitting somewhere unattended might draw suspicion from a Safety Officer and end up being moved out of concern for the safety of all guests. So, I don't think I would recommend leaving your cooler unattended. I would suggest leaving it out in your car. SDC makes it easy to reenter the park with your snacks or lunch by just presenting your valid admission ticket for that day.
Credit and Debit cards are fairly widely accepted at Silver Dollar City. All of the restaurants on park accept credit/ debit cards and half of the concession stands do as well. The best advice I can give on the concessions stands is to just ask at the stand if they are equipped to accept credit/ debit cards. There are also ATMs located in various places on park for your convenience.
