Q: What can my family do in Branson while I am in meetings?

Q: Jennifer asks, "I have a conference around June 11ish at The Chateau and want to include the spouse & offspring. I know that I will be in a meeting for at least one full day.

 So I'm looking for stuff DH, DS & DD can do without mom. I'm definitely looking at the City Hopper but I want to do that with them! Any & all suggestions are appreciated."

A: I think the CityHopper ticket would be a great deal for you and your family.  The CityHopper allows you to come and go as you please to Silver Dollar City, Celebration City and White Water for 4 days during your trip.  There is plenty to do at Silver Dollar City for more than one day, so even if your family decides to visit while you are in your meeting they can bring you back and share their favorite activities with you the next day.  Or on the day of your meeting your family could relax by the pool or take a Ride The Ducks tour then that night you could all enjoy a visit to Celebration City. 

Things really don't start heating up at Celebration City until after 5 PM, so even though you'll be in meetings all day there will still be plenty of fun to have together as a family.  My favorite ride there is the wooden coaster, The WildCat.  It's a blast!  You can also check out the recent post about the new ride, Roaring Falls.  And the Nightly Laser Show Spectacular is a must see!  You will be amazed!

Here are some of my suggestions for your family:

Ride the Ducks (also would be fun for you)
Mini Golf (more locations than your family could do in 2 weeks!)
Go-Karts
Predator World (a type of zoo that is very cool--just a short drive to
Branson West to get there)
Branson Landing (shopping mainly, but lots to look at!)
Fish Hatchery--this is really close to the Chateau, and it is free

Ripley's Believe it or Not

There are tons of things to do! I hope this list gets you started!
