Q: What's the best way for both parents to ride a ride when visiting with a small child?

Q: Lori asks, "Can you give me more details on the "baby swap" program for rides?  Buckshot Granny was telling us about it, but I didn't get to hear all the details.  Are there any more good tricks I need to know?"

A: You almost stumped me on this one, Lori.  I had not heard of a "baby swap" program in my 10+ years of visiting the park.  But, I spoke with the SDC Attractions department and they do actually have a similar program which I prefer to call a "parent swap."  When a group of parents comes to one of the rides (excluding the Waterboggan and Marvel Cave) and has a child that is too small to ride, one of the parents can ride with the rest of the party while the other stays with the child.  When the party returns to the loading dock, the parents swap places.  This way everyone gets an opportunity to ride without twice the wait, and your child stays safely with a parent.
