Q:  Jamie asks, "I am overweight and I have a 5 year old daughter I will be riding some rides with and I wanted to know does each person have their own bar to lock them in? I wouldn't want the bar to be way up high on her because of me. Also are there some rides I might not fit in?"

A: I checked with the Silver Dollar City Attractions Department in regards to your question about ride restraints.  Following is the information they shared with me:

"Larger or taller guests (including guests who weigh more than 215 lbs., have a chest dimension of 52 inches or greater, or a 40 inch waistline) may experience difficulty with the seat/restraint system and thus may not be able to ride the following:

Electro Spin, Elephant March, The GIANT Swing, The Grand Exposition Coaster, High-Low Silos, Magnificent Wave Carousel, Regatta, PowderKeg®, Thunderation and WildFire.®"

Also, you can download pages of the Silver Dollar City Rides & Attractions Guide by visiting here.  There is detailed information on what to expect when riding any of the rides at SDC, including information about the restraints.

I hope this helps!
