Q: Who sings the opening ceremony song at SDC?

Q:  Cyndi asks, "Who sings opening song wonderful day to open sdc? And where can you get a copy of this?"

A:  Well, you've stumped me, Cyndi.  I've asked around and found out the opening song was written years ago specifically for Silver Dollar City by an area musician.  The song is proprietary to the park and as such was never recorded commercially.  In other words, you will just need to keep visiting Silver Dollar City to hear the song during the Opening Ceremony!  If anyone else out there has some information about the song please feel free to let us know.
