Rain, Rain, Go Away...We Need Sunny Saturdays!

I like to think I'm a fairly positive-thinking person, but this freaky 2008 weather is getting to me. Tornados in January ...followed by destructive
ice storms...followed by even more destructive flooding...followed by strange late-March 90 mph high winds...followed by a forecast for even more rain later this week. Really, I say "uncle" I need some sunshine to fall on my shoulders. Decent weather (with decent defined as "not life-threatening") may be around the corner as today's projected forecast calls for sunny and highs in the 60s by this Saturday! Which is great timing because I plan to go to World-Fest on Saturday to see the new Feet of Fire Irish Celebration. Everybody think positive thoughts and visualize sunny skies. There's got to be a pleasant springtime that will arrive someday soon!

With all this rain I think we're in for a really green Spring! I love the drive to the City each Spring as everyday the trees get a little bit greener and the trees start budding and flowers blooming. It'll be great to have a wash of color in the hills instead of flash flood watches!! Hello World-Fest here we come! What a welcome sight a sunshiney day at the City will be! |

We were at the "City" for spring break and Thursday was wonderful but Friday was cold and yucky. Saturday was rainy so we decided to drive home. Hopefully we will be back in April or May. My 3 year old is already asking to go back to the "City". |

Everytime we come to Silver Dollar City and Branson, we go for 4 or 5 days. That way, you have assurance weather will be good atleast one of the days you are there. |
