I know I have probably said it about every festival this year, but An Old Time Christmas really is my all-time favorite festival at Silver Dollar City.

I just love seeing all of the sparkling lights decorating the trees and buildings, the shows that can't help but get you into the spirit of the season, and of course, the delicious hot chocolate!

Did you know that Silver Dollar City's water rides are still open? We visited the park last weekend and were surprised to find that you can still take a ride on the American Plunge or Lost River!

And, it's a good thing we could because it was a beautiful day with the high reaching almost 80º on Sunday. We had some cousins in from out of town that were visiting the city for the first time. We didn't want them to miss out on a couple of the park's best rides!
