Okay, so I've been by Tom Sawyer's Landing a few times and noticed it was closed, but little did I realize that it is undergoing some big changes that will result in an exciting all NEW family fun ride in 2009! Apparently they are doing a complete overhaul so Tom Sawyers will be closed for the rest of the year. Kids Fest is Magical All Around

The summer is in full swing and Kids Fest is off to a magical start! I headed to the City to experience the first day of Kids' Fest and to see the Peter Gossamer Magic Show at the Opera House.

For example, something that tells you what rides are most popular but have the slowing moving lines? It would be our desire to arrive when the park opens and move quickly to the most popular rides first to avoid long lines. Is there anything out there like this? Thanks!"

Q: Jami asks, "My extended family will be meeting in MO first week of June for a vacation, several kids from 3 to 10 yrs old. Seems like SDC is the place to go!

I'm wondering what the crowds are like at that time of year? Are we talking Disneyworld crowds, waiting in line for 2 hours for a ride? I understand this is a big park but my 3 yr olds would be happier walking on the curb in the parking lot than waiting in tremendous lines. Any insight on this?
