Along with March comes the promise of Spring and all the fun times we've been anticipating all Winter long!  Just a few things you'll want to know about Springtime and Silver Dollar City: 

First, if you haven't purchased a Season Pass, the Best Benefits end Friday, March 5th which include the popular Bring A Friend Coupons. 

Next, Silver Dollar City opens for Family Spring Break Days this month (March 18th-21st and March 25th, 26th & 28th; March 27th is Young Christians' Weekend).  We always stay close to home for Spring Break and SDC is always number one on our agenda!

Finally, World-Fest, America's Largest International Festival opens on April 8th and runs through May 9th!  We love this event and are so excited about the featured performers this year.  Highlights include NEW Calpulli Mexican Dance Company, NEW Diego Martin Footprints Folk  Performers featuring Trinidad Drums and Dance, and NEW Fiery Fiddles featuring internationally acclaimed Janice Martin, "The World's Only Flying Fiddler," and Nova Scotia's premier fiddle champion, Jennifer Roland.  Plus returning favorites like the Russian Academic Band, Dearbhail Finnegan, Zhejiang Chinese Acrobats starring the Balancing Monks, Kerry Christensen and more!  And it'll be great to see what international viddles will be served in the Taste of the  World Festival Barn.  Mom's opinion:  If you've never been to World-Fest you're missing out big time because SDC actually brings the world to our doorstep!  It's a great time for your family to learn about other cultures and experience great food and entertainment. 

So, mark your calendars and get ready for a springtime full of fun!   I don't know about you but we are definately counting the days!
