What a great day I had at the Bluegrass & BBQ Festival!  Not only did I hear some great music throughout the City by some really great bands, but I learned some new recipes to jazz up my menus this summer!

Have you checked out the Festival line up for Silver Dollar City this year? We'll if you haven't, you'll want to get your calendars out and plan to make several trips because of all the great things that will be coming our way!

Spring....what a wonderful word!  After all the snow, ice and frigid temperatures we've had this winter,  just saying the word "Spring" brings a smile to my face and anticipation of all this new season holds.  If your family is anything like ours, we are counting the days until Silver Dollar City opens for the first time in 2009 for Family Spring Break Days (March 19-22, 26-27; 9:30 am - 6pm and March 29; 9am - 6pm).  

I love a new year.  It's a great time to leave behind all the worries and woes of the previous year, mistakes and broken resolutions, challenges and triumphs...
