Some sure signs of spring are finally showing up here in the Ozarks - the tiniest little tulip leaves pushing their way through the ground in my garden; I actually left the house this weekend without a heavy winter coat; and Silver Dollar City opens for Family Spring Break Days in just 10 days!

As my family was taking a walk this weekend enjoying the sunshine, I actually mentioned to my husband, "This would be a perfect day for a trip to SDC." Well, our wait is almost over. I've got my season passes in hand and looking forward to all the park has planned for us this year.

Especially the opening of the NEW ride RiverBlast! I've actually been tracking the progress of the ride on Facebook. I just love getting a "sneak peek" at all of the work that has been accomplished on the ride over the winter months. The theming is my favorite part! 	... I can't wait to visit Hillcreek Pottery! I've decided to change my dinner ware, but can't find exactly what I want. Silver Dollar City Craftsmen take special orders, so I can't wait to discuss ths project with the Potters, and see what they come up with. Whatever it is, it will be unique and beautiful!
