Just wanted to remind all of you that there are only a few days left to check out Bluegrass and BBQ at the City.   The festival ends May 31 but every day is packed with plenty of big-time bluegrass and all the great BBQ you care to eat so make sure you check the schedule.

Wow...I can't believe that World-Fest is almost over!  If you're like most families, Spring is filled with lots of activities and the weekends just fly by.  

The folks at Silver Dollar City sure know how to throw a party, and that was never more evident than this past weekend during the park's 50^th Birthday Celebration.

We are a family that homeschools and as I'm sure you can imagine, that comes with a unique set of challenges. One of the biggest is getting through those times where boredom or "blahs" set in - both for Mom and the kids!
