Q: Melanie asks, "I thought a new ride was going in where the balloon ride used to be but I see nothing about it on the website. Is there one? If not, why did they take out the balloon ride and carousel?"

A: In light of the economy, in a time when smart businesses must make smart decisions, we have decided to delay the opening of Silver Dollar City's new RiverBlast until 2010.

Also how tall do you have to be to ride the new ride when it opens?
