Q: When are there less crowds?

Q: Carol asks, "Are there any days of the week that are less crowded?  What about what time of day?" A: I would recommend trying to visit sometime during the week instead of on the weekends.  Also, think about making a trip during the spring or fall instead of the summer months.  It will give you a chance to see some of the unique festivals at Silver Dollar City like World-Fest, Bluegrass & BBQ or the National Harvest Festival.  Plus, the temperatures are usually a little milder, which makes for an enjoyable trip.

My son likes to be at the park as soon as it opens so he can be the first to ride the Giant Swing, which is his favorite ride. We have found that when we get there early, he can ride several times without having to wait very long. We like to get there in time for breakfast, then hit the rides early. Thanks!
