Q: Missy asks, "I've been doing research for weeks trying to figure this trip out. Unfortunately I am not familiar enough with Branson to know which lodging places are the cleanest or the best deal.
There will be 4 adults and 1 child attending SDC. We plan to go down on a Thursday evening and go to SDC on Friday and Saturday. I would like to stay as close to silver dollar city as I can, yet not pay an outrageous amount and wasn't sure about which deals were the best for sdc. I hope someone can tell me. Thanks!" A: I’m so glad you’re planning to bring your family to Silver Dollar City in 2009! I’m sure you’ll have a terrific time. There is plenty of information online that will help you plan your trip. I would suggest visiting explorebranson.com (this is the official Branson website) for more information about lodging choices and area activities. On this website, you can narrow your search by the type of lodging you'd prefer and the area of town you're most interested in. I can't give any specific recommendations, but some other Moms might comment to this post or you can visit tripadvisor.com for guest reviews of area lodging. Once you have an idea of where you'd like to stay, I would suggest you check out the Silver Dollar City Attractions and Lodging Packages page on our website. These packages include a 2 Day Ticket to Silver Dollar City for the price of a 1 Day Ticket, plus you can choose from several area hotels and even add tickets to other area attractions. If your family likes to camp, don't forget about The Wilderness at Silver Dollar City. Our campground offers cabins as well as campsites for a wilderness adventure that's close to Branson Attractions. The campground also sells a 2 Day Ticket to Silver Dollar City for the price of a 1 Day Ticket, and they have a free shuttle service to the park! I hope this information is helpful. We look forward to your visit!
