Q: Kim asks, "Did anyone else besides me notice that the Giant Swing is closed a lot? Every time I went to SDC since it was built, it has been closed. I really wanted to ride it, but I guess it might never happen. Does anyone else think this ride might not stay long?? Thanks so much!"
A: I'm sorry for the delay in my response, I needed to check with the Silver Dollar City Attractions team to get the scoop. According to the ride experts, The GIANT Swing was "closed at times to ensure that it operated according to safety standards and operating procedures." All of the rides at the park undergo regular maintence checks in an effort to keep guest's safety the highest priorty, making sure you have a safe and fun visit.
